A strong commitment to service has always been a major focus of Phi Theta Kappa's mission. The Society endorses the concept of service to the college and community as a scholarly responsibility. To most effectively concentrate the resources of Phi Theta Kappa's "army of scholars," the Society selects an International Service Program to become the focus of service activities carried out by chapters and regions. Becoming a Chapter of Service Phi Theta Kappa chapters are strongly encouraged to participate in the Society's International Service Program for 2006-08, Operation Green: Improving our communities. The Service Program provides many opportunities for our chapter members to make a real difference in their local community while also generating awareness about Phi Theta Kappa. If your chapter is committed to participating in the Operation Green Service Program, please complete the Chapter of Service Enrollment Form. |
